Today Platoon A Boys NGO Team and Girls NGO Team taking this district competition at SK Sutera and SK Perling 3.

Girls Team won the champion and congrates to Sgt Ang Wen Chain as she get the Best Commander!

Boys team did a good job also! They get 2nd placing in the competition and...

Cpl Lee Pin Hao who are the boys team commander get the Best Commander also!

Yeah!

Let us keep work hard for the next competition!

- A little story to cheer you up!‏ -

在一場船難中，唯一的生存者隨著潮水，漂流到了一座無人島上。
The only survivor of a shipwreckwas washed up on a small, uninhabited island.

他天天激動地祈禱神救他 能夠早日離開此處，回到家鄉。他還每天注視著海上有否可搭救他的人，但卻是除了汪洋一片，什麼也沒有。
He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him,and every day he scanned the horizon for help,but none seemed forthcoming.

後來，他決定用那片帶他到小島的木頭造一個簡陋的小木屋以保護他在這險惡的環境中生存，並且保存他所有剩下的東西。
Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hutout of driftwood to protect him from the elements,and to store his few possessions.

但有一天，在他捕完食物後，準備回小屋時，突然發現他的小屋竟然陷在熊熊烈火之中，大火引起的濃煙不斷向天上竄。
But then one day, after scavenging for food,he arrived home to find his little hut in flames,the smoke rolling up to the sky.

最悲慘的是：他所有的一切東西，在這一瞬間，通通化為烏有了。悲痛的他，氣憤的對天吶喊著：「神啊！你怎 么可以這樣對待我！」頓時，眼淚從他的眼角中流出。
The worst had happened; everything was lost.He was stunned with grief and anger."God, how could you do this to me!" he cried.

第二天一早，他被一艘正靠近小島的船隻的鳴笛聲所吵醒。是的，有人來救他了。
Early the next day, however, he was awakenedby the sound of a ship that was approaching the island.It had come to rescue him.

到了船上時，他問那些船員 說：「你怎麼知道我在這裡？」
"How did you know I was here?"asked the weary man of his rescuers.

「因為我們看到了信號般的濃煙。」他們回答 說。
"We saw your smoke signal," they replied.


人在碰到困難時，很容易會沮喪。不過，無論受到折磨或者痛苦，都不用因此失去信心，因為神一直在我們心裡面做著奇妙的工作。
It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad.But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives,even in the midst of pain and suffering.

記著：當下一次你的小木屋著火時，那可能只是神美妙恩典的表徵而已。
Remember, next time your little hut is burning to the groundit just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God.

在所有我們所認為負面的事情，神都是有正面答案的。
For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves,God has a positive answer.

- Wall Rock Climbing!!! -

26th of March 2009, 1st Johor Bahru Company sent 3 members, Sgt Jeremy Koh, Sgt Geow Chun Ping and Sgt Sin Yee, to a Wall Rock Climbing Training Course organized by Youth and Sport Ministry Johor. This Wall Rock Climbing Training Course held at Komplex Belia dan Sukan, Larkin, and last for 4 days 3 nights.
The first day of the training course, we, all the participants, 26 of us, from different races, introduced ourselves to others and shared about our climbing experiences. Then, we learnt about the definition and history of wall rock climbing, the structure of artificial wall.
The following day, 27th of March 2009, we learnt more about type of climbing, device of climbing, communication while climbing. All the participants were divided into 3 small group for learning and discussing. We 3 were all in different group, learnt how to communicate with others people which is different races. Some of them are from UTM, sport science student, some are staff from government organization and some are students, like us.
The 3rd day, all the syllabuses were more on practical. Everyone grabbed the chance to climb the most challenging artificial wall in Malaysia. We wore the safety features, eg. Harness, and communicated well with our belayer, the person who will be the guide of climber, followed instruction given by our teacher, Mr. Black. The authority set a target for all the participants of this training course which is touch the panel 3 in practical. We, 3, BB members, hinted the target, especially, Sgt Jeremy Koh, he was touched panel 4!!Wow! At night, the examination was on. Everyone studied hard for it and finally we got all pass with flying color. Sgt Jeremy and Sgt Chun Ping got 18/25, Sgt Sin Yee got 23/25.
The last day of the training course, closing ceremony of Wall Rock Climbing Training Course 2009. We’re very thanks our teacher, Mr. Black and 1st Johor Bahru Company offered this opportunity to us. We‘re not learnt about the wall rock climbing knowledge yet we learnt about how to communicate with public and how to do a good presentation in small group.

- Kip Mart Drill Competition -

On 29 March 2009, 22 members were represented our school to attend a drill competition at Kip Mart. We do our best at the drill and the last we get 1st runner up.

- Announcement -

Effective this Saturday, Mr Chee will step down as a Platoon A leader.
MsMichelle will be new platoon leader for Platoon A.

Lets us work with MsMichelle and build up the Platoon A into higher standard!
